Virtual Twilight Run, Walk and Roll

OBJECTIVE

The Virtual Twilight Run, Walk and Roll will replace GLASA’s Annual Twilight 5K and will continue to serve competitive and recreational runners and athletes with disabilities. This year we are getting creative and giving you an exciting option to determine how WE can come together as a community (in spirit!) and celebrate how YOUR commitment to raising vital funds for people with a physical or visual disability is making a real difference today and every day.

The purpose of this event is to provide exposure to the Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association and an opportunity for athletes who have physical disabilities or visual impairments to embrace the GLASA motto of “Let No One Sit on the Sidelines”.  100% of the proceeds from this event will go directly to GLASA athletes and their programs. Our goals are to help increase the overall health and wellness of our athletes, assist with funding for individual athlete programs and to expand GLASA’s outreach.

Multiple divisions include runners, walkers, teams, manual wheelchairs, racing chairs and hand cycles, ambulatory, amputee and the visually impaired.  Participants are encouraged to social fundraise by soliciting their supporters to spread the word and raise funds through their own social channels.
